"Parker" is an accomplished canine companion who is very intelligent, loves to work, and loves people. He is only 17 months old and will be ready for placement in November 2023.
Pedigree:
Parker is a son of our girl Razzle and Nipntuck's boy, Hardy. He was born on 05/26/2022 with an impressive show line pedigree of good temperament and soundness as well as proven ability in both conformation and performance. He has numerous Aunts and Uncles who are working Service Dogs and Pet Therapy Dogs. His famous brother STRYKER is the Canine Ambassador for the Corps of Cadets of Virginia Tech, A/K/A GROWLEY III, and as such lived on campus at Pearson Hall.
His Mom, " Razzle", is the daughter of "Grand Ch.Belquest Conclusion Glamour " and "Multi BISS Grand Ch. Shalimar's The Animator" , "Cyrus". Glamour took WB and BOW at Westminster in 2017. Cyrus, was the stud dog class winner of the Labrador Retriever Show of the Potomac in 2015. These lines have produced many working dogs including Guiding Eye Service Dogs.
His Dad, Hardy, earned a Best In Show Specialty award and his AKC Grand Championship. His award winning parents are BOSS GCH Nipntuck Seeking Fame, "Hope", and his father BISS GCH Nipntuck Well Played, "Player".
Health:
Parker has had a full genetic panel completed via Embark. Testing results show that he is not a carrier nor affected by any known variations for Labradors. He is clear for EIC, PRA, CNM, CMS, Stargardt, HNPK, MCD, Narcolepsy, Pyruvate Kidney Deficiency, Skeletal Dysplasia. He had his eyes cleared by a veterinary ophthalmologist in 2022. He is 100% Labrador, non-dilute. He was neutered on 9/18/2023. All clearances have been recorded with the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA). Adoption includes health guarantee and proof of clearances, health records. He is up-to-date on vaccinations and monthly preventatives for heartworms, flea/ticks.

IABCA 2022 Tar Heel Seger, Parker awarded Best of Breed Puppy during 3 shows, 3-6 months puppy. In the AKC 4-6 months puppy class he was awarded second place in both the National Labrador Retriever puppy match and the Labrador Show of the Potomac puppy match ( Largest and most prestigious Labrador show in the world)

Parker is a very beautiful Labrador and a fabulous canine companion. He has already been trained in AKC Obedience and AKC advanced Rally performance. He currently does his weekly Pet Therapy rounds at the Hermitage Retirement Community in Roanoke, VA.
Adoption Includes:
Pre-placement home visit, re-homing assessment, handling knowledge transfer, AKC registration, health guarantee, health records, written placement agreement.
Adoption cost is $8,500.
All of our available older puppies/dogs will only be offered for placement with appropriate health and training credentials. We only use positive motivational canine training methods to obtain results. Bonding and building trust with our companions is of the utmost importance to us. As such we are also very diligent in finding excellent FOREVER homes and provide transition support.
